Goals

The objective of the seminar session is to investigate the stability of continuous-time linear systems by algebraic criteria.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this assignment the students will be able to: • implement algebraic criteria for stability; • investigate automatic control systems (ACS) for stability without the existence of a delay unit; • make a quality assessment of the transient processes in automatic control systems.

Context

Automatic control systems constitute an integral part of modern life. They make our life easier and minimize the human labour by automating the manufacturing of different products and technologies.
