Matlamat

The aim of the project is to learn active learning and merge the concept of biotechnology with computer science. With the help of this project ,we will teach our students in a very different way. The objective of this project is to mine genes that are absent or present in bacterial genomes without mismatch repair pathway.

Objektif Pembelajaran

Teach students how to -download genome sequence -annotate genome for genes -find genomes with lacking in mismatch repair genes -mine other genes that are absent or present in genomes lacking mismatch repair genes

Konteks

This problem is a problem of bioinformatics. The solution requires knowledge of biotechnology and computer science. The problem teaches students knowledge on genomics--genome sequence analysis and interpretation of annotation.
