The education in Greece does not support problem-based learning. Although many teachers try to import this method in their class, the cast of mind has to change. There are some important advantages of PBL. First of all, students who participate in such activities can improve their abilities to retain and recall information. While learning about something, students can open discussion among them and so they can understand better the subject. As a result, knowledge can be more profound and durable. In addition, there is continuous engagement as students collaborate to solve real-world problems. Based on the collaboration, teamwork and communication skills are improved.
