Area Estimating Using Finite Sums

Eesmärgid

The goal of this problem is to use the finite estimation method to find the area under the graph of a function. The rectangles are usually used in estimating the area.

Õppe-eesmärgid

One of the objectives is to understand the concept of finding the area of the region under the graph defined by a function using the geometric formula. This concept leads to the the formula of the area using integral or definite integral.

Sisu

We are going to use the sum of the area of rectangles to approximate the area under the graph of a function.
