The objective of the activity is to analyze the input factors that influence the measurement process.

Õppe-eesmärgid

When completing the assignment, the students will be able: • to understand the methods applied to measurement of cylindrical openings.; • to define how to eliminate gross errors from multiple measurements by using the three-sigma rule.; • to analyze the temperature influence on measurements.

Sisu

A series of tests are conducted in which significant changes related to temperature during the measurements are observed. The results obtained are analyzed by using statistical methods. The purpose of the experiment is to analyze the input factors affecting the measurement process.
